By Chris Jackson Wednesday June 10, 2015
Joe DeMers (College Park, Sr.)
The do-it-all DeMers put his name across the national scene in 2015, making his park as both a pitcher and a hitter. He went 13-1 on the mound with a 0.51 ERA, striking out 103 batters and walking only 10 in 96 innings. DeMers also recorded a .447 batting average, six home runs, 16 doubles and 44 RBI's, leading a team loaded with seven Division 1 commits. His dominance helped carry College Park to a second straight North Coast section title and an undefeated record in the Diablo Valley Athletic League. DeMers has signed his letter of intent to continue his career on the diamond at the University of Washington.
