1. College Park (4-1)
The Falcons suffered their second loss of the season, but with this one coming to national ranked and undefeated San Clemente. Joe DeMers is 4-0 with a 0.27 ERA and is also hitting .478 with nine RBI's.
2. Valley Christian-San Jose (11-2)
Following a three game win streak in which it outscored opponents 10-0, it suffered a 4-2 loss to St. Francis. Westmont and Los Gatos await on Friday and Saturday.
3. Mitty (9-2)
Mitty got back to its winning ways with victories over Sacred Heart Cathedral (8-2) and St. Ignatius (4-3). They will face Stockdale-Bakersfield in the first round of the Boras Classic this afternoon.
4. Bellarmine (10-2)
Sid Iyer struckout ten batters as he tossed a complete game in a 3-2 victory over Turlock at the Boras Classic. A 2-1 loss to Elk Grove proceeded that.
5. De La Salle (2-3)
Don't let the record fool you as all three losses have come to Jesuit, Serra and St. Mary's-Stockton. Michael Reuling had three RBI's, a double and a triple in a 9-8 loss to Jesuit. Six pitchers made appearances in the contest.
6. Los Gatos (12-1)
During the seven game win streak, the offense has scored 56 runs and the pitchign staff has recored three shutouts. Aiden Finch is hitting .474 with eight doubles, three home runs and 21 RBI's.
7. St. Francis-Mountain View (6-3)
Andrew Carter's complete game was highlighted by nine strikeouts and three hits in an impressive 5-2 victory over Valley Christian-San Jose.
8. San Benito (15-2)
The impressive 11 game win streak came to an end after suffering a 9-2 defeat to Palma-Salinas. Through 17 games, the pitching staff has allowed a mere 31 runs.
9. Serra (7-4)
Scott Ota had five hits and three RBI's in a 12-3 rout of Riordan. Christopher Apecechea then tossed six scoreless innings as Serra defeated Sacred Heart Cathedral, 10-0.
10. San Ramon Valley (5-1)
Three RBI's and a long ball from junior Ryan Davis only told part of the story in a demoralizing 20-4 trouncing of Santa Rosa. The Wolves open up another challenging EBAL season on Wednesday, with a matchup against Livermore, a team they were swept by last season. They also travel to Amador Valley on Friday.
11. Amador Valley (6-0)
Andrew Crabill had a pair of RBI's and AJ Curtis added a triple as the Dons improved to 6-0 after beating Liberty, 8-4. Cal and San Ramon Valley open up the EBAL slate this week.
12. Vintage (13-1)
Vintage has has won six in a row, highlighted by wins against Casa Grande and Davis. Aaron Shortridge tossed a complete game and struckout seven in the 2-1 victory over Davis that spanned eight innings.
13. Foothill (7-0)
Outscoring opponents 39-10, the Falcons are paced by a .429 average and nine RBI's from star Vincent Tanisawa. They take on Monte Vista and Cal this week to open up another grueling EBAL slate.
14. Maria Carrillo (6-1)
Winners of six straight, the pitching staff has allowed a combined 13 runs during that stretch. The streak was capped with a statement victory against Casa Grande, 4-2. Granite Bay awaits in the Boras Classic today.
15. Livermore (6-1)
The starting pitchers have been key in the six game win streak. Cal Poly bound senior Thomas Triantos is 3-0 with a 0.33 ERA. Junior Brian Martinez is also 3-0 with a 1.09 ERA. They travel to defending NCS runner-up San Ramon Valley on Wednesday, a team they swept last season. Martinez will take the mound in the matchup at SRV.
16. Marin Catholic (6-2)
Bryan Jakiemiec had a double and three RBI's in a 3-1 win at San Marin. Peter Armusewicz followed up that performance with two RBI's, a double and a home run in a 6-1 victory over Justin-Siena. During the three game win streak, they have outscored opponents 14-2.
17. Redwood (9-1)
Eight consecutive victories make it one of the hottest teams in all of Northern California. A recent 10 inning affair against Tamalpais helped keep the streak intact alongside a 6-2 win over Novato.
18. Heritage (6-2)
Kevin Milam struckout ten and allowed three hits in a complete game shutout of California, 3-0. Jason Andersen tallied two hits and an RBI in the game as well.
19. Casa Grande (5-5)
All five losses have come by a combined six runs. The defeats include Bellarmine, Heritage, Maria Carrillo, Marin Catholic and Vintage.
20. Palo Alto (9-3)
Following a defeat to Wilcox earlier in the week, they got the revenge they were looking for with a 4-1 victory over that same team. Justin Hull allowed one earned run and four hits in six innings on the mound.
21. California (4-3)
The Grizzlies have now lost three of their last four and are having a tough time finding a groove offensively, posting a combined four runs during that stretch. They mustered three hits and also committed three errors in a 3-0 loss to Heritage.
22. Arroyo (7-2)
Winners of five straight, they have outscored opponents 36-3 during that stretch and have also posted two shutouts. Dominick Higares had two doubles and Jaycob Medina had four RBI's in a 9-0 drubbing of Hayward. Matt Gonzalez and Ricky Peterson allowed a combined two hits in the contest.
23. St. Mary's (9-1)
A recent victory over a traditionally superior Campolindo squad showcased the teams potential, especially with it winning nine of its first ten.
24. Milpitas (10-4)
Losing three of its last five, Milpitas slips in this weeks rankings.
25. Tamalpais (7-2-1)
A 10-inning loss to Redwood and another one run loss to San Marin have Tamalpais seeking to get back to normalcy after getting off to an undefeated start at 7-0-1.
