1. College Park (18-4)
Joe DeMers was handed his first loss of the season in a 3-0 to De La Salle on Saturday. The offense mustered just two hits on Spartans ace Justin Hooper and left six men on base.
2. St. Francis-Mountain View (22-5)
17 hits and 13 runs, with four of those runs being driven in by Johnny Mendoza, helped the Lancers pull a 13-3 rout of Mitty and clinch the coveted WCAL regular season title.
3. Valley Christian-San Jose (21-6)
Kris Bubic and Brian Tate each tossed shutouts against Mitty and Riordan, giving the Warriors a second place finish in the WCAL regular season standings.
4. Serra (18-8)
A pair of doubles and RBI's from Angelo Bortolin led the way in a 10-6 victory over Bellarmine. However, a 1-0 loss to St. Ignatius followed that up.
5. De La Salle (14-6)
Justin Hooper's shutout in the win against College Park propelled it to its fifth straight victory. De La Salle is in sole possession of first place in EBAL and travels to second place Monte Vista on Friday.
6. Monte Vista (13-7)
The Mustangs are the surprise team of the year, but this comes as no surprise to the players and coaches. They are 7-3 in the perennial East Bay Athletic League and sit in second place. A matchup with first place De La Salle awaits on Friday. They've won four straight.
7. Los Gatos (26-4)
Two losses to Palo Alto in the De Anza League playoffs move it down a bit and ended its hopes of earning a league title.
8. Mitty (18-9)
Mitty has lost three straight heading into the WCAL playoffs, being outscored 20-4.
9. Redwood (19-3)
The offense has been electric during the four game win streak, tallying 44 runs and outscoring opponents 44-4.
10. San Ramon Valley (14-6)
The Wolves have dropped three of four, capped off by a loss to last place Granada on a walkoff suicide squeeze. They host Cal and Foothill this week.
11. Bellarmine (17-9)
Following a loss to Serra, Justin Dziuba allowed two hits in a 2-0 victory over Sacred Heart Cathedral.
12. Heritage (18-4)
A 13-5 win over rival Liberty on Thursday highlighted its six game win streak as it clinched the BVAL title. Antioch and Freedom wrap up the league slate this week.
13. Casa Grande (17-5)
Over its 12 game win streak, it has recorded six shutouts and sits one game ahead of Cardinal Newman in the North Bay standings with two games remaining. A pivotal matchup at Cardinal Newman takes place on Wednesday.
14. Livermore (13-7)
Cal Poly signee Thomas Triantos has returned from his injury and will start versus Monte Vista on Wednesday. He tossed two shutout innings and Brian Martinez tossed five more in a 3-0 victory at Amador Valley last Friday.
15. Vintage (22-5)
Vintage wrapped up the league slate with a pair of wins over rival Napa, finishing 11-4 in the Monticello Empire League and sharing the title with Vacaville. It does own the tiebreaker over Vacaville due to the head-to-head results.
16. San Benito (20-6)
A 4-0 victory over Palma helped it clinch the Monterey-Gabilan title heading into contests with Christopher and Monta Vista Christian.
17. Cardinal Newman (18-4)
Casa Grande awaits on Wednesday and a loss would take it out of the league title race while a win would give it a share of first place.
18. Maria Carrillo (17-5)
Sitting at 10-2 in the North Bay League, it remains one game back of Casa Grande for first place and is tied with Cardinal Newman, who it faces on Friday.
19. Hillsdale (26-1)
The Knights finished the regular season with 23 straight victories and undefeated in the Peninsula-Ocean League.
20. Arroyo (17-5)
Matt Zahn's one-hitter lifted Arroyo to a 1-0 win over Berkeley after falling to that same team two days before. With to more games to play, one win would give it the WACC title.
21. Marin Catholic (16-6)
Behind Brandon Buckley's complete game, they defeated Drake, 2-1. John Maclean had two hits and four RBI's to tag alongside a home run from Bryan Jakiemic in an 11-4 trouncing of Branson.
22. California (11-9)
Adam Alviso's pinch-hit, walkoff single capped off a 3-2 comeback win over Foothill. However, a 3-0 defeat to Monte Vista followed up that performance.
23. Amador Valley (12-8)
Jake Davidson delivered two home runs and six RBI's in a 9-1 victory over San Ramon Valley. Chase Henley also gave up one run and five hits in six innings.
24. Kennedy-Fremont (19-1)
13 straight victories have it sitting at 19-1 and first place in the Mission Valley Athletic League. Nick Medina leads the way with three home runs and 14 RBI's. Chris Tonna has a 0.54 ERA.
25. Foothill (11-9)
Five straight losses have the Falcons tied for last place with Granada in the East Bay Athletic League standings. Contests with Granada and San Ramon Valley await this week.
