A strong fourth quarter helped it pull away from Miramonte in a down-to-the-wire quarterfinals contest.
3. El Cerrito (27-3)
The Gauchos appear well on their way to an NCS Division 2 championship.
4. Monte Vista (25-3)
Stefan Mitu had 17 fourth quarter points and finished with 40 in total in a 69-63 victory over Antioch. The one seeded 'Stangs then on an overtime thriller over Castro Valley in the NCS quarterfinals.
5. De La Salle (25-3)
If the Spartans can pull of their third consecutive victory over San Ramon Valley, all signs point to a rematch with Monte Vista, but this time in the NCS championship.

Although it has to face nationally ranked Bishop O'Dowd in the NCS semifinal a, it has already qualified for the Northern California playoffs.
7. St. Francis-Mountain View (21-4)
Following a 57-34 opening round trouncing of Fremont-Sunnyvale, the Lancers will face league foe Serra in the CCS semifinals.

A 66-29 rout of Half Moon Bay has it looking to avenge Serra in the CCS semifinals.

Qualifying for NorCals is in the back of its mind right now as another tough matchup at Marin Catholic looms in the NCS semifinals.

Tyler Ryan scored 23 points in a 72-60 victory over Valley Christian-Dublin in the NCS quarterfinals.

Winners of 16 straight, the hottest team in the area took down Riordan in the CCS playoffs.

A game-winning layup propelled the Yellow Jackets to a thrilling 69-68 victory at Freedom as they will travel to Monte Vista on Wednesday in hopes of advancing to the section championship.
