Michael Echavia became a leader for Amador Valley on both the mound and at the plate. He
boasted a 2.71 ERA on the mound with a 7-3 record. At the plate, Echavia
batted.409 with three home runs and 19 RBI’s. The Hawaii-bound senior Echavia helped
lead Amador Valley to their 2nd NCS Title in four years and finish
the season as the 35th ranked team in the country on Maxpreps’
Freeman Rankings and finished the year as the 4th ranked
